Elemental is a project by Riddhi—a 3,000-square-foot fine dining restaurant that articulates and peels the four natural elements: earth, water, fire, and air. Guests are offered different sections for unique journeys of exploration at Elemental to feel the harmony and beauty of nature’s elements within a sumptuous setup. The goal of the design was to combine exquisite elegance with the captivating power of nature to produce an unparalleled dining experience.

A project that was programmed in four different sections of the restaurant, such as symbolising one of the elements of nature, was realised through thoughtfully selected materials, colours, and textures. The challenge was to find a balance among all those thematic elements so that the composition would not be too obvious and literal but would remain sophisticated. The layout supports efficient restaurant operations while enhancing guest experiences. This interior will attract people inside and plunge them into a fairytale atmosphere combined with luxury and sophistication by applying some characteristics of the interior design.

The earth section will provide warmth and connection through the use of wood, cement, and terracotta rich in earth tones. Using natural materials and plants to create a serene and grounded environment. The water section is defined by the Beverage Boutique Bar with its serene blue hues and reflective surfaces of glass bricks, which create an oasis of tranquillity. The section of fire exudes warmth and excitement through bold colours, strong light, and tactile materials that provide a lively atmosphere. The section has enshrined sunlight to give refreshing dining experiences, allowing guests to either dine in the glow of the sun or under the stars. The future of restaurant interior design is therefore about innovation, sustainability, adaptability, and guest-centricity, opines Riddhi. Elemental reflects this vision with open arms towards advanced technologies and sustainable practices.

In designing Elemental, Riddhi aims to externalise the beauty of nature and project a futuristic vision where cutting-edge innovation and nature can blend in perfect harmony. The intent is to offer guests a unique dining experience with immersion into what the founding principles of natural elements have to be in a futuristic world.
