When can we visit the campus?
Aspirants can visit JD School of Design Campus –
- 10 AM – 5 PM – Monday to Friday
- 10 AM – 1 PM – Saturday
Is there any scholarship available for bachelor’s or postgraduate courses?
No, we do not provide any scholarships.
Is there any fee rebate for Army personnel?
Yes, there is a 5% rebate on first-year fee to Army Personnel.
Is there any fee rebate for SC/ST candidates?
Yes, there is a 5% rebate on first-year fee for SC/ST candidates.
Is there any fee rebate for Ex-Servicemen?
Yes, there is a 5% rebate on first-year fee for Ex-Serviceman.
How to apply for the JD School of Design?
Students can apply by both Online and Offline mode
Online
- Go to the website and fill out the application form available
- Our Admission counselor will contact you at your given contact number
- We will share an online registration link and payment link
- After completing payment students will receive a fee payment receipt and admission form.
- Students need to submit an admission form along with required educational documents.
- After submission, you will receive your JD Id and password.
Offline
- Students will come to the campus
- Fill out the registration and admission fee with the required documents
- Students will receive admission confirmation receipt at the same time
- Students can talk to our admission counselor at the campus for any query
Is the Registration and program fee refundable?
No, it is not refundable and non-transferrable under any circumstances.
When can I fill the admission form?
If you are a design aspirant and have a keen interest in designing, you can fill out our admission form. You will be assisted by our team for further process.
How can I contact you if there is any question regarding the application or program?

What are the skills and technical aspects required to apply for the course?
If you want to pursue any Design Course at JD School of Design, the aspirant should have a passion for designing only.
Do you provide educational loans for your courses?
We provide the required documents, where the student can apply for the educational loans through their respective banks, provided the student has taken admission by paying the registration amount.
Do you have hostel facilities?
We have an accommodation support system with credible service providers. Students can directly connect to them and they can choose from multiple options to choose from as per their compatibility.
Are all bachelor and post-grad programs at JD School of Design powered by JD Institute of Fashion technology approved by the university?
Yes, all our bachelor programs are approved by Bengaluru City University at Bengaluru Centre and Goa University approved all our bachelor programs at Goa Centre. All our Post Graduate programs are offered in partnership with Singhania University.

BSc in Fashion and Apparel Design should have passed Govt. Polytechnic Diploma in Fashion/ Textiles/ Handloom/ Knitting Technology/Costume Design/Garment Technology/Leather Technology.
Is there any entrance exam to get admission?
No, there is no entrance examination at JD School of Design. Students will get after having a Personal Interview round with an academic counselor.

What is the curriculum of the bachelor courses in fashion design?

What is the ratio between theory and practice?
JD School of Design focuses on the practical approach more than the theoretical part. We have a ratio of 80:20. There is 80% Practical and 20% theory.
Is there any honors degree?
Yes, we offer honors degrees to the students. However, it is completely optional for students to choose from. As per National Education Policy 2020 It is student choice to opt for honors degree or pass course degree.
What are the career opportunities after doing a bachelor’s course in Fashion Design?

Is there internship and placement support for students?
Yes, we have a dedicated placement cell that helps students with internship and placement drives.
Is there any Global immersion program for undergrad students?
Yes, the JD School of Design offers a global immersion program twice a year. Students can opt for any one program or for both as per their convenience and choice.
Can undergraduate students participate in an open house and award shows?
Yes, this is a mandatory part of the curriculum for undergraduate students.

No, there is no lateral entry for master’s programs.

Yes, all master’s degree programs are offered in collaboration with Singhania University.
Is Singhania University UGC affiliated?
Yes, it is affiliated with UGC, established by the Govt. of Rajasthan, and recognized as per Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

How many times can students go for industry visits and internships?
It depends on the curriculum structure of the particular program. However, students can opt to complete a two-month to six-month internship program as per their course and curriculum requirement. They can opt for the organization offered by the school’s placement cell or they can choose an organization of their choice.
