Design is not just a matter of form, function, or beauty. For us at JD School of Design, it’s also about expression — the fierce, unbridled kind that manifests in performances, feelings, and collective moments of happiness. That essence was brought to life at Jediiians Got Talent 2025, our eagerly anticipated cultural fest, where the students interpreted “bold” in all its forms of creativity.

Hosted at Prabhath Kala Sambrama, the festival was a confluence of energy, diversity, and interdisciplinary excellence. The crowd saw a stirring fusion of art, music, dance, and martial arts — performances that spoke not merely as acts but as statements. Be it a traditional solo or a state-of-the-art contemporary number, every performance bore with it the spirit of the JD Way— based on originality and unapologetic expression.

In his speech, JD Educational Trust Managing Trustee and JD School of Design Founder Mr Nealesh Dalal touched on the greater significance of the evening by saying, “Though we always felt this truth, students getting the opportunity to live up to it through shows like this is our constant reminder.” His statement reflected the sentiment in the room — that such events are not just entertainment but serve as platforms for students to discover and express their identities beyond the syllabus.

Amidst spirited performances and loud applause, there was a glimpse of subdued pride when the institute celebrated its academic rank holders—students who excelled in the Bengaluru City University results from both the Fashion and Interior Design streams. Tisha N. Jain, of the B.Sc. Interior Design and Decoration (IDD) 2021 batch, was awarded the 1st Rank— a special achievement. In the B.Sc. Fashion and Apparel Design (FAD) 2021 stream, Prerana S V secured the 4th Rank, Prerana Jain the 5th Rank, K K Manasa held the 5th position, Deepthi Lunia was the 8th, Rishika P was the 9th, and D Sanjana was in the 10th rank.

They are a testament to the balance we promote at the JD School of Design—where intellectual rigour is paired with creative growth and where excellence is not a solo pursuit but sought out simultaneously along multiple fronts. Their achievement was not an individual one but a communal one—fueled by the cohort of peers, coaches, and educators that pushed them forward every step of the way.

As Jediiians Got Talent 2025 concluded, it left us with more than memories. It showed us the future that we are creating — one where designers are not only doers and thinkers but cultural contributors, highly attuned to their passions and poised to shape the world through voice, vision, and values.

At JD School of Design, we remain committed to our vision: to raise the next generation of bold innovators. This event was another powerful step along the way.
