The “Ekatva” collection from the inspired of the Triveni Sangam – The Divine Confluence, designer Palak Bothra sensitively interlaces mythology with modern couture to present a rich symbolic and cultural narrative. Inspired by the sacred confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati—each of which is revered as a goddess in Indian mythology—the collection comprises ten thoughtfully curated looks that convey spiritual, historical, and emotional depth.

The journey begins with the cosmic creator Lord Brahma. It stretches to landmark mythological moments: Ganga’s slide off the toe of Lord Vishnu, the graceful descent of Yamuna, and the wisdom-sparking presence of Saraswati. The youngest of these three represents their coming together at the sacred Triveni Sangam in heaven, embodying harmony, purity, and sanctified convergence. Through this narrative, Palak aims to court Gen-Z listeners by retelling ancient tales of ancient India in the living potential of fashion.
Aesthetically, the collection is a fusion of Indian spiritual iconography and high-fashion futurism. Sheer layers, sweeping drapes, and symbolic embellishments mirror the distinct attributes of each river goddess—purification, duality, and wisdom. The designs resonate with a younger generation seeking meaning, identity, and visual storytelling.

Placed in the modern couture arena, Triveni Sangam is not fashion; it’s cultural learning in sophistication. It combines tradition with timeliness, offering a new generation of fashion followers the opportunity to enjoy mythology as living and ongoing inspiration, rather than remote legend.
