July was a vibrant month at JD School of Design, powered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Goa, filled with creative activities that brought out the best in our students. Here are some highlights from our July activities:

Fevicry Mould It Clay Fridge Magnet Workshop

July Activities at JD School of Design, Goa A Burst of Creativity

Our BSc 1st-year Fashion and Apparel Design students had a hands-on experience at the Fevicry Mould It Clay Fridge Magnet Workshop, hosted by Pidilite. This workshop was a perfect blend of creativity and fun, allowing students to explore their artistic side.

Exploring Foliage Rendering

July Activities at JD School of Design, Goa A Burst of Creativity (5)

Our first-year students explored the art of foliage rendering using a pen as part of their introduction to the elements of design. From fine lines to bold strokes, they creatively brought plant forms to life, one leaf at a time.

Branding with Purpose

July Activities at JD School of Design, Goa A Burst of Creativity (2)

Our students explored the unique aesthetics of iconic fashion houses like Chanel, Versace, and Ralph Lauren, and then crafted their very own concept brands from scratch. From curating an original aesthetic name and logo to designing impactful brand boards, they brought their creative visions to life.

Design Thinking through Illustrations

Our fashion students brought ideas to life through expressive illustrations and thoughtful design thinking. From sketches to storytelling, every piece reflected their unique vision and innovation.

Art and Styling

July Activities at JD School of Design, Goa A Burst of Creativity (3)

Art came alive through styling as our DFD students explored iconic art movements and transformed themselves into living artworks. From Frida Kahlo’s fierce style to the bold colors of Fauvism and the timeless elegance of Greek art, each look was a self-styled expression of creativity and interpretation.

Paper Meets Purpose

July Activities at JD School of Design, Goa A Burst of Creativity (4)

Our DFD students explored the fundamentals of design by crafting inventive front and back paper T-shirts, each one a bold expression of the elements and principles of design.

At JD School of Design, we believe in fostering creativity, innovation, and self-expression. Our students are encouraged to explore their passions and interests, and we provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the design industry.
