Library by Smriti Raj

BSc in Interior Design

A place in Erode, Tamil Nadu—4,400 sq. ft. of every bibliophile’s dream. Smriti Raj didn’t just create any other place with dusty bookshelves and weird silence no-one’s allowed to break. This library’s got charisma. It’s for everybody—kids, grownups, the distractible, the Zen, the “book in one hand, chai in the other” types.

The vibe? “Flow.” You walk in, and everything just…moves. The walls curve like they’re giving you a hug, rooms hook together smoothly, you don’t feel the transition. It’s all about moving from creative chaos to hideaway nooks, perfect for the serial novel inhalers or the ones that just want to zone out and recharge.

For the kid crowd—there’s a story dome. An actual dome where you can get lost in your own imaginary universe. There’s DIY craft space and reading spots just screaming for some blanket forts. Adults aren’t left hanging. There’s the VR learning zone, shadowy corners to curl up with the latest bestseller, and an outside area for when they’re feeling all outdoorsy or poetic.

It’s a chameleon. Personal retreat when you need to disappear and pretend you’re the main character. But bring your friends, and suddenly it’s a buzzing community hotspot. It’s basically permission to slow down without hitting the brakes on life—whether you’re hiding out under a tree with a book or getting mind blown by techy stuff.

Smriti Raj redefined what a library can be. This isn’t just shelves and shushing. It’s breathing, morphing, full of possibilities. “Flow” isn’t just a poster on the wall—it’s the undercurrent that drags you in and dares you to discover. This is the kind of place that makes you remember why learning ever felt like an adventure.
