Student housing generally look the same with barely any comfort. But Priyanshi Agrawal’s “Student’s Next Home” firmly rejects that notion. She has completely transformed the previously gloomy atmosphere of the PG room into something much more uplifting into a sanctuary, less of a sad dorm cell.
This project runs on the idea of pressing pause, which every student needs from the lectures, deadlines, and existential dread. The whole vibe is about slowing down, catching your breath, and feeling okay inside your own four walls.

The space crams in study spots, sleep zones, some playtime action, and chill time with friends—all in roughly the size of a walk-in closet. There’s reading nooks, chill lighting. Everything’s flexible, soft, easy to rearrange, and kind of just hugs you when you plop down after a brutal day.

You can twist the room around whenever you want. There’s a cozy corner when you need to crash. Mini gaming nook at your service when you want to rage at Mario Kart. The desk can disappear when you want to throw down a yoga mat or start a little paint disaster on the floor. Nothing is stiff or clinical—there are squishy materials, mellow colors, seats that don’t kill your back, and random touches where you can slap your personal style everywhere.
This setup encourages you to actually take a break on purpose. Really rest. Not the doom-scroll kind. Space to think, nap, dream, rant, everything. That’s when college burnout chills out, even just a bit.
Priyanshi takes the boring old PG room and turns it into this well being-fueled bubble that feels like home—a place that invites you to exhale. Every student deserves a space that isn’t just for crashing but for actually feeling human.
